Solid State (Thyristor) Heating Power Supply

• A 0.93 - 0.95 power factor input under all load conditions with low standby power consumption

• No high frequency contractors - induction load is energised by solid state SCR / Diode inverter system. Circuit isolation by output transformer.
• Low maintenance costs - there are minimum moving parts to wear out
• Variable frequency - it follows load variations and automatically adjusts itself to maximise power without capacitor switching.
• Fast electronic fault protection backed up by high-speed fuses.
• In-rush currents are minimal on start up.
• Continuous or frequent stop starting at 100% power harmless to equipment. Unit is capable of operating continuously at 100% power or alternatively unit can be switched on/off under full load conditions.
